Elizangela Martins is a Senior Consultant and Product Owner with 15+ years of experience at the intersection of business operations and enterprise technology. What sets her apart is a career arc that began on the practitioner side — spending a decade in planning, analysis, and business operations roles — before transitioning into enterprise software consulting, where she has led complex platform implementations and modernizations across industries.
That dual perspective is rare. She doesn't just understand how enterprise systems are configured — she understands why organizations need them to work the way they do, because she's been the person on the other side of the table trying to run a business with them.
Today, Elizangela brings that foundation to every engagement: leading data modernization initiatives, owning product backlogs, bridging business and IT, and ensuring that what gets built is what the business actually needs.
Retail Planning (Pre-Consulting)
Elizangela began her career as a regional planner in retail and held varying roles over the next 10 years, building competencies across location planning, assortment planning, allocation, financial planning, and business analysis. This practitioner-side experience gave her something most technical consultants don't have: an instinct for how business decisions cascade across an organization, and what it feels like to be the end user of the systems she would later help implement.
Oracle Retail Consulting (2010–2015)
At Oracle, Elizangela joined the retail consulting practice as a Solution Implementer and Subject Matter Expert, specializing in omni-channel MFP, MLP, and MUP implementations. She led solution design sessions, managed cross-functional business user teams, created and maintained design documentation, and drove implementations from requirements through go-live. She also led monthly internal town hall meetings and mentored new hires joining the practice.
JustEnough Software (2016–2017)
As a Senior Consultant, Elizangela expanded her platform expertise to JustEnough's MFP solution, focusing on omni-channel implementations. She supported project management activities — contributing to project plans, monitoring time and expenses, and participating in weekly status reporting — while continuing to lead solution design and end-user training. She also mentored a new consultant through each phase of implementation readiness.
Logic Information Systems (2017–2019)
At Logic Information Systems, Elizangela supported managed services and led multiple BI tracks integrating omni-channel metrics into client reporting solutions. She facilitated requirements gathering, created report design documentation, completed QA testing, and managed a team of developers. She also collaborated on a customized Item Planning solution implementation, leading cross-functional business user teams through design, testing, and go-live.
CGI (2021–2024)
As a Senior Consultant and Product Owner at CGI, Elizangela led two major initiatives. First, the successful implementation of MCP (Merchandise Cash Planning) — a modernized platform migration that added enhancements including automated production calculations, a simplified markdown planning experience, and ecom returns-to-stores planning. Second, she owned the product backlog for a multi-phase enterprise planning modernization focused on centralizing hierarchy, reference, plan, and actuals data through a unified Data Hub — establishing a single source of truth across enterprise systems. She also owned the rollout and performance reporting strategy for a university-wide mobile commerce platform, driving adoption through analytics-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.
Infosys (Feb 2025–Present)
In her current role, Elizangela leads enterprise data platform initiatives supporting Oracle-based planning and reporting systems. She owns end-to-end delivery of data modernization efforts — from ETL design oversight and data validation to testing strategy and production readiness — while serving as the primary liaison between functional leadership and technical teams. She is also supporting data governance efforts to standardize definitions, hierarchies, and metrics across systems.
